Creative Marketing has been part of the Hawke’s Bay business community since 2007, originally providing a wide range of marketing, design and digital support.
Over time, one service consistently stood out as the area where we delivered the most impact, value and ease for our clients: websites.
That’s why today, Creative Marketing specialises solely in website design and development. Our focus is on building Squarespace websites for small and medium businesses who want something clean, modern and easy to update themselves.
While we are no longer taking on new clients for marketing, graphic design, advertising or full-service campaigns, we are absolutely open and ready for website projects. Our goal is simple: to remove the overwhelm, avoid unnecessary costs and complexity, and deliver a website that genuinely works for your business.

Julia Kay
Julia has owned Creative Marketing since 2007. With a long background in marketing, she offers a unique combination of strategic thinking and practical execution.
She has project-managed websites since the late 1990s, overseeing literally hundreds of builds across many industries. Julia knows exactly how to plan, structure, design and deliver websites that work in the real world, not just on paper. She’ll look at your website through the eyes of your customers and your business goals, ensuring every decision serves a purpose, and is focused on giving you what you actually need, not upselling unnecessary extras. If something isn’t right for your business, Julia will tell you.

Community is a big part of who we are. Creative Marketing is a proud sponsor of the Holly Trail, one of Hawke’s Bay’s most loved charity events, which raised a record-breaking $500,000 for Cranford Hospice in 2024.
Julia also serves on the Holly Trail Committee, volunteering many hours each event cycle to help bring this special fundraiser to life. Supporting the Hospice and giving back to our community is something we’re truly honoured to be part of.
